We have received funding from The Trussell Trust to employ a Local Organiser. Local Organisers are responsible for building and leading a volunteer team to develop and deliver local campaigning strategies in and with local foodbank(s), organising in the local community to create change. They are the link between the foodbank and the Organising and Local Mobilisation (OLM) team at Trussell Trust, as together we build a movement to end the need for foodbanks. The OLM team will deliver training for the role.
